Partnership with Nehemiah Economic Development Association
One of our key collaborations is with the Nehemiah Economic Development Association. Through this partnership, we are proud to offer a Facilities Maintenance Technician Carpentry Apprenticeship program. This initiative is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and training to thrive in the carpentry field. Participants in the apprenticeship program will earn both the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification in Carpentry and an Apprenticeship NC certificate. By investing in the workforce, we aim to empower community members, improve employability, and contribute to the overall economic development of our region. The apprenticeship program provides not only hands-on experience and mentorship but also opens doors to meaningful career opportunities in Carpentry .
